「Yui」を展開する kay meは、2011年の創業以来、世界中の「挑戦する女性を応援」してきました。ブランドの原点には、挑戦に立ち向かう女性たちが「もっとラクに、もっと自分らしく」いられるように、という強い願いがあります。「Yui」はその想いを受け継ぎ、忙しい現代女性に「整う」ひとときと「自信」からくる美しさを引き出すウェルネステックウェアとして誕生しました。
Founder’s Story
ハードワークから導いた答え
ハードワーカーの毛見自身の体験から生まれた、働く女性のためのウェルネステックウェア「Yui」。代表毛見は、元コンサルタントとして、多忙な日々の中でデスクワークや出張による肩こりや疲労に悩まされていました。「自己犠牲による成功」ではなく、「まずは自分を愛すること」こそが真の挑戦の原動力になる。その気づきから、“唯一無二の『わたし』を大切にする” という想いを込めて「Yui」と名付けました。
Design Journey
働く女性の ”本音” をカタチに
kay meでは、管理職女性比率が約80％。多様なライフステージを生きる20代～50代の女性管理職・社員たちが、日々のリアルな悩み―冷え、肩こり、シワや型崩れ、そして「美しさと快適さの両立の難しさ」―を持ち寄りました。現場の声をベースに議論を重ね「仕事後の疲れをそのまま次の日に持ち越さない」ためのウェアを開発。「Yui」は、働く女性自身の視点から生まれた “課題解決型”のウェルネスウェアです。
